Joy Hastings is a fine art Nature photographer born and raised in Yorkshire England, now living in Manhattan New York.

Joy’s passion is light and capturing those elusive moments in Nature, when light transforms our reality into ethereal visions and Horizons are blurred and lost, so the very substance around us becomes washes of color telling its own story.

She was also fortunate enough to meet and develop a friendship with Alfred Eisenstaedt, the famed Life Magazine photographer.  Eisie as she was later privileged to call him gave her an insight into how one of the true greats saw the world.

Joy’s work was selected for the 6th year, to be part of the catalog and auction at Friends of Friends benefit. This is the 19th annual auction benefiting the Angkor Hospital for Children.

She is currently a contributing photographer to the Audubon society, and has work featured in their yearly calendar.

The National Arts Club, in Manhattan has also featured Joy’s work as part of group show

Her work is in various private collections throughout the US and Europe.
